Browne-Marshall, author, legal scholar, and playwright, was honored with a Mid Atlantic 2023 EMMY Award for her work as host and writer of the animated series Your Democracy on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the awards event held in Lancaster, PA. The winning episode was “How A Case Goes to the Supreme Court” in the category of Social Concerns. Your Democracy is produced by WHYY, a
