Saint Francis Hospital Hosts Animal Blessing Ceremony/ Hospital to Kick Off Week-Long 40th Anniversary Celebration

As part of their 40th anniversary celebration, Saint Francis Hospital will host an animal blessing ceremony in honor of its namesake Saint Francis of Assisi –the Patron Saint of animals and ecology.

Father Victor Larochev will begin blessing the animals at 3 p.m. on the lawn across from the hospital parking garage just south of the medical office buildings. The animal blessing is free and open to the public. Community members with pets are welcome to bring their animals to have them blessed.
