The kick off to the event will feature a Wednesday evening parade from Beale Street to the Liberty Bowl in conjunction with both Memphis Mayor A C Wharton and Shelby County Mayor Mark Luttrell. Later that evening, bikers from all across the city will light a Unity Torch on the main stage on Tiger Lane.

Preacha Chambers is the club president. “Our primary goal for the BikeFest is to raise money to assist “at-risk” youth who live in the most dangerous neighborhoods of Memphis with mentoring programs, education scholarships and safe-house resource centers,” said Chambers.
